  • Cool Jeff Moore and Dennis Still? I remember those imports, was ricky brown already here....

  • @RichHartford74 sana sa fiba asia 2013 maka-medal tayo kahit bronze, kasi sa darating ng WORLD FIBA three asian teams ang qualified. di ba maganda.

  • wow at this point china is closer to Philippines and Asian teams now are tough in terms of basketball,i believe this coming Fiba 2013 China will struggle Iran will be back,Lebanon also trying,Qatar as well,Korea's competitive and Philippines have a huge advantage if it will be played here.Hopefully Chinese officials wont do this in a Poltical rampage..

  • The Philippines won the Gold Medal and earned a berth to the 1986 FIBA-World Championships. Unfortunately, the Philippines was not able to compete due to the political turmoil that that country (People Power) was experiencing. China,Korea,Japan and Malaysia were the countries who represented Asia.

  • @jeffreydecastro420 - I am a huge fan of the NCC that was coached by Ron Jacobs. But in fairness to Gilas, the Chinese team during the 80s were "mechanical" and were relying on height over athletism. Five years later after this tournament, in 1990 Asian Games the firs All-PBA pro team that met China were massacred by a score of 125-60. Our score is even less than the margin of defeat. Yes, Hector, Samboy, Franz were there, along with the other PBA pros, but the game of China has vastly improved.

  • Sir tagahanga, Chip Engelland didn't play in this tournament. It was his backup shooter, Allan Caidic, who stepped up in 3-point shooting during the finals against China.

  • Ang ganda panoorin ng Northern Cement kesa Smart Gilas. Smart Gilas wala naman shooting tira ng tira. Yung Northern Cement may scientific play at may consistent
