The only reason I gave this 5 stars because I couldn't give it 50! Wonderful and timely!
Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become the "read-headed step child" of holidays. Simple, uniquely God-centered and unencumbered by commercialism, paganism, or even nationalism, it has the best elements of what a holiday should be.
It is a shame this perfect, pure holiday is becoming not much more than a speed bump between Halloween and Christmas. Shame on us for letting this happen!
