@kwakis Yes I agree - in America image was everything and that's what hurt them, In the rest of the world people aren't as shallow I guess and they did better in Europe and Asia I think.

I was the first person to see and hear of the band Saxon in my home town of Salem, OR! I seen them when they opened up for Cheap Trick on Dream Police tour/Strong Arm of The law. Came home bought the Record, showed it to all of my friends, and they all went crazy over it. Seen them a total of 5 times and met all the band when they performed here in Salem w/Accept and Heavy Pettin. Got the privilege of talking with lead guitarist Paul Quinn for 15 minutes.

Saxon were a great band. Their only problem was that they looked like they were on a reunion tour when they were in their prime! Great band, should have been way bigger!

One of my favorite Saxon songs. That guitar solo has been burned into my brain since the first time I heard it. Makes me a little sad to think that was 25 years ago. What I wouldn't give to relive those days....
