Command & Conquer Generals + Zero Hour were indexed in 2003 by the BPjM (Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons).
The noticable changes speak for themself.
I made this video to showcase some of the alterations, with main focus on the cyborg issue.

Additional info:
Generals tends to depend to much on current polical affairs.
According to the censorinfo, "Generals subjects to realistic threatening events and propagates a single solution for these kinds of conflicts: War. Indicating that Generals puts the Iraqi regime on an equal footing as an islamic terror organisation a.s.o."

The 1st mission of the WA, Westliche Allianz(USA) campaign is to eliminate all GLA forces and neutralize weapons of mass destruction located in Baghdad. Sounds familiar?

Changes: -'Baghdad' changed to 'Twin Sword' City
-'Operation: Final Justice' changed to 'Zone: Wüstensimulation
Schlacht der Maschinen' meaning 'Zone: Desertsimulation Slaughter of the Machines'

  • The censorship in Gernamy is ridiculous. And why? Because of retarded WWII guilt?

    Sad really.

  • Haha, these germans...

  • I threw up a bit in my mouth

  • Made in Germany, you know the Germans make good stuff!

  • was generals banned from china?

  • Cyborgs? I think CABAL took a trip in the Generals universe.

  • probably the only time the GLA made use of advanced tech...

  • LOL! GLA Robots!

  • @lihkan If they would make China allied with GLA in the game, chinese government would have turned this game into a diplomatical issue...

  • No surprise. The occupational government of Germany (non representative of Germans) doesn't want to expose the people to a single hint of nationalism. They expect the people to sit down, shut up, and allow hordes of non-Germans to flood the country until they are no more.
