Video re-track of Section 25's "Looking Out From A Hilltop" made for play in Chicago's Club Medusa video room in 1986. I have had to update and replace sections of the original which had become too jiggy to view!

  • RIP Larry cassidy.

BTW love the video...esp. Blade Runner which I bet was well used to back videos back then....I'm guessing the Fifth Element bits are modern to the 1986 version, unless you were amazingly ahead of your time LOL.

  • @timbearcub for some reason these messages were not getting to me...

thanks a mil for your comment...I had to re-edit the fifth element stuff cuz the old vhs tape I captured this from was in rather bad shape hence the time travel though I kept to the spirit of the original video I had made waaay back when...

  • I love that little touch of Slim Pickens riding that Nuke for all he's worth! Guys like you made Medusa (& Exit - Horror Flicks/Godzilla battles) more bearable when the tunes/people weren't quite cutting it on a given night, gave us something to hold our interest, fascinate us... Video Room was the predecessor of "Chill-Out" Rooms- I miss them in current clubs. You and YouTube have just given this old fart (44.5 & rising) ANOTHER reason not to venture out! "To Hell with Copyright®!"... Cheers!

  • Glad this provides you with a bit of that ol' buzz.

I used to slave for hours (and still do) editing that footage together in the hopes that people would find the montages fascinating, entertaining, sometimes morbid and occasionally mind bending. I watched my audience with the scrutiny of a social anthropologist and learned a lot about people and what kind of imagery is riviting. Thanks for the dialogue it is good for a ratification buzz!

  • Wow, you have one very good memory! Yes originally it was Klingon ships. When I dug this one out of the collection to put up on youtube, the beginning of the video and the audio were in not so good condition so I relayed the audio from the original vinyl (now digitized) and copped some scenes from "The Fifth Element" to replace it with and generally jazzed it up a bit. Thank you for your comment and your subscription. And cherish your flashbackkkkkk!
