True.......I think like his personality (his beliefs, likes and dislikes), we still dont know much about his music (upper structures, bitonality etc) but the journey is very interesting.

Le Tombeau is regarded as one of the more difficult suites to play. Ravel was a brilliant man. Such an attentive ear when it comes to harmony and orchestration.. though dang his pieces are complex

I cant remember how it took.......about 4 months!!!!!
the prelude was easy because of its several continuous patterns up and down, left and right. It think basically the pentatonic scale is the key. The rest of the piece, it has 5 other movements was brutal.
I've just began learning this piece! It's kind of a challenge for me. I hope I'll be able to play it as well as you in a few months
