  • typical liberal hypocrites

  • @meaninter03 No the poluarissitc easdt mean whole easrth est just means land in general as in local and as it refers to local mountains seems likelty wewhat it meant. Its not picking and choosing its using hebreww understanding it

  • @bossman103 Right. You're taking the version that agrees with you, but at the same time you admit the word means many things. Pick and choose much?

  • @meaninter03 Yes erst loacl land not entire eartth gosd this is not a hard concept

  • @bossman103 Every living thing on the face of the earth...sounds like every living thing on the face of the earth. It's in your book, not mine.

  • @meaninter03 No it was a local flood. As thehebrew word translates to land or area or can mean whole earth in pauralistic term.

  • @bossman103 Genesis 7:23 disproves the "local" part of that claim, unless all life on earth at the time was local.

The flood of the bible ain't local. It must be based on a local flood (there is a tradition going back to other civilizations, talking about a big flood in the area, that was survived by a king that made a raft), but, the way it's presented it's global. Not that they knew at the time that the earth was a globe.

  • @meaninter03 No i never said you were lying I am just used to how degrees work inn the uk. I am going to assume that you are telling the truth. You have presented me with no reason to distrust u on that point.

Firstly no, ok no what is does is talking ages. ANo it does not

Noah's ark is about a local flood

  • @bossman103 Working on a graduate degree. Undergrads in econ and psych. What? Think I'm lying? Or setting up an ad hominem?

Yes. The bible doesn't say a lot of things. But, in the intro, it does say everything came into being ready formed. Nothing there changes. It's all created whole. Goes against evolution.

Same with the ark of Noah. How many species did he cram in there? When did that flood take place? Where's the evidence for it? Nowhere?
