  • Good point. Personally I think the drumming sounds very futuristic and open minded and fresh, whereas the horns, even though the playing is good, sound very traditional, anti futuristic. Musically they are tight as hell, thats for sure, but the combination of the horns and the drums takes away any of the atmosphere thats being created by Bill. just my 2 cts

  • @myownservant different tastes, huh? For me, Django's peck horn work makes the piece. Such an unusual choice of instrument and wonderfully played.

  • Although the drumming is very interesting, the horns dont do anything for me.

  • Brilliant! Bruford made the most of what Simmons was offering.
