As an OB your father in law makes over time. Its not like the child care profession where you have to stay until the child is gone, without overtime.

My mother was an OBGYN nurse, she pulled in 2,200 a month, 26K, thats more then i make in a year. I pull in 1K a year workin a shitty fulltime job, in a one room appartment, no insurance. Your father in law, is a rich man. And he got that way, but bustin his friggin balls. But hes still rich.

But then...you have the other guy, several good friends of mine, who makes around 90K on wall street (without bonuses added). Im not saying they dont deserve it, as im sure they work hard, but the nature of his job is certainly different than being in the OR all day....they certainly would have excess cash to spare if they learned to spend modestly, unfortunately the same doesnt go the OB doc (or most any physician right now)

ok, now how the hell do YOU know? seriously. what pisses me off is the fact that everyone lumps "the rich" in one category without stratification. My father in-law may make around 200K as an OB , however that is NOTHING when you factor in how much insurance is for that specific field. That, along with the normal stress, working 7 days a week, endless hours, etc.

Sarah Palin was just as bad as the Clintons in character but not as dangerous as the Clintons b/c they are way smarter than Palin. 2. Obama is not inept or unqualified. Also corporate taxes are paid on net profits, after all production costs are met (i.e. NOT Gross Profits). The rest just goes towards shareholder payouts.

Also even Ireland pays a higher "effective" tax rate than we do.
