The quality of this video seriously sucks. . . I don't have the fastest connection at times, and I would have no problem letting this video load... but alas it was in the poorest quality available.

1:45, to be a vampire means to give Alucard a b.j.
-
@Ripper177 The whole Arkard thing is a mistranslation, Kohta Hirano said it's 'Alucard, because it's Dracula spelled backwards. Don't you get it?' Is what he said to Crispin Freeman and Talisen Jaffee when they visited him. ( He said it like "Arucard, because it's Dracura spelled backwards.", they tried mimicking him. xD Kohta is pretty funny. )
-
@DeVileDanish No, Kohta Hirano already cleared this up. It IS Alucard, but there is no definite L in the Japanese alph. so when they say things, or spell things, it's like "Arucard" / "Arkard" /" Akado." But it -IS- Alucard.
-
@Himurakenshin3001 Probably because the point of his name is that it's "Dracula" backwards, and if you're going to pronounce it with an L there's no good reason to spell it with an R.
-
They ARE the original actors. At least it's still Crispin Freeman as Alucard.
-
yeah I heard that in Japanese "l" is similar to "r" bur Arucard backwards Dracura ?? which is WTF but Alucard backwards Dracula I guess eveybody knows Dracula so isn't it obvious that it's not Arucard But Alucard
-
Wow... for once, the English dub of an anime doesn't sound bad at all! They sound very similar to their original actors. I'm impressed.
-
sorry, did you say ardvark? XD
its literally 'spelled' "A RU KA RU DO", but the engrish adaptation of that is simply 'arucard' or 'alucard' because the way it is spoken leaves out the final vowel
LOLZ YOU MISSPELLED ALUCARD

No, they mistranslated it. In Japanese there's very little difference between 'l' and 'r.' another example of this is Teletha Testarossa in FMP. Teresa would be a much better translation for a person of Italian origin, but they chose to go with the 'L.'

Whats with the quality crapping out at about 1:20?

The ripper I used does scenes with movement poorly, so that probably messed it up.
