Lightsaber from left over parts

I have an empty Master Replica FX construction kit shell. Its electronics went inside my custom hilt. I can not let the shell go to waste. So I gutted a 10 dollar Hasbro lightsaber I got from Walmart (2 years ago). I then put those parts into the MR shell. Kinda like a recycled lightsaber.
I did not pull out the RGB LED that was in the MR. So I decided to wire it up so the blade is purple-pink. At first it was too red. I put a 10 ohm resistor across the red LED to make the blue come out more.
