A short video highlighting Al-Anoud tower Building Maintenance Unit system.
The buildings' unconventional and rather unique shape called for a very custom solution. Made up of 3 roof trolley systems, the side trolleys climb along the curved roof tops by means of lifting winches. Furthermore, each side unit switches from one set of tracks (from where it accesses the front facade) to the second set (from where it accesses the rear facade) through a hydraulic mobile base.
The center BMU provides access to the center parts of the front and rear facades.
The system was designed and built by our partner company OTTE Aufzugsstechnik GmbH, Germany. It was installed and is routinely maintained by MACE BMU
The building has 22 useful floors and a total height of 137 m. It is located on King Fahd Road in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.
