This year over 300 Motorcycles went on the 6th Annual Texas Honor Ride famous 'Ride to Nowhere.' This is a Police Escorted Ride through the Sam Houston National Forest and surrounding area. The 75 mile Ride starts and finishes at the West Conroe Baptist Church. Riders and Passengers pay a Registration fee for the Ride. All of the proceeds go to support the Warrior and Family Support Center at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. Ft. Sam is home to the Brooke Army Medical Center and the Center for the Intrepid. Our most critically injured Troops are sent to BAMC for care. Their Families, from all over the country, come to San Antonio to support them. The Gov't takes care of the Troops... but the Families are on their own. The Warrior and Family Support Center, on post at Ft. Sam, helps meet the needs of the Family members. That's where the money goes. The THR (Texas Honor Ride, Inc.) is a 100% Volunteer 501(c)3 Corporation and $.96 on the dollar finds its way to this great facility.
