  • They may run fine but with the extra heat build up I would almost bet they will not last as long. Those electronics need airflow. I think you would be wise in the long run just to run lipos

  • Thanks for the tip, I really appreciat it. This is October 4 09 and my car still runs fine, that was my main concern. So it probably does ruin it a bit but it has some room and does not seem nodicably decreasing. Thank you very much though.

  • Yes i'm positive that they wont.

I'v been runing it about 2-3 times a day since I put the video up and my truch runs fine.

  • Thats a pretty good idea, but are you sure either the ESC or the reciever will be damaged?

  • what about heat damage from the foam around the ESC? its not a very thought out idea using foam, the placement is very good just remove the foam and use a very good double sided servo tape to adhere the Rx and ESC to the chassis, also Exotek makes a conversion to use a bigger, stronger, 1/10th size steering servo, along with an alum. dual bellcrank steering setup. I have it on mine and let me tell you their stuff is of the highest quality and better than factory could ever be.

  • Rhinogek, it is uncommon for them to explode, as long as you handle them safely, there is almost no danger at all

  • dont get lithium polimer if you overcharge them they explode

  • this works great
