  • Townshend was on roll during this period. Who's Next could easily have been a double album.

  • Some of Pete's best rhythm guitar work!

  • No question that there is more material on this album than on 2 or 3 albums from pop bands today....as much as I like the Beatles and the early stones... Does any other lbum from that era really compare to Who's next?

  • we need water and maybe... somebody's daughter.... holy shit that is amazing

  • just amazing that it took them a decade to get this good... most bands fizzle out long before that.... This band was still getting better.... Roger's vocals were still progressing.. the writing was absolutely progressing..

  • Absolutely one of their best albums. Pete is amazing, Keith.. well who was better? Roger, probably one of the best Rock and Roll singers, and then there is John. Not a better bass player before or after.. Truly an amazing band.

  • @rnargi I think Pete had it mostly figured out; it's just that no one else understood 'Lifehouse' as a concept, and Kit Lambert wasn't there to help make sense of it for the others.

  • Damn Daltrey does some sick vocals here.

  • @cholulasaucehot

You have to look for the special double disc edition. It cost the same as the regular edition.

  • We would all say NO to them two individuals daughters.....
