No question that there is more material on this album than on 2 or 3 albums from pop bands today....as much as I like the Beatles and the early stones... Does any other lbum from that era really compare to Who's next?

we need water and maybe... somebody's daughter.... holy shit that is amazing

just amazing that it took them a decade to get this good... most bands fizzle out long before that.... This band was still getting better.... Roger's vocals were still progressing.. the writing was absolutely progressing..

Absolutely one of their best albums. Pete is amazing, Keith.. well who was better? Roger, probably one of the best Rock and Roll singers, and then there is John. Not a better bass player before or after.. Truly an amazing band.

@rnargi I think Pete had it mostly figured out; it's just that no one else understood 'Lifehouse' as a concept, and Kit Lambert wasn't there to help make sense of it for the others.

Damn Daltrey does some sick vocals here.

You have to look for the special double disc edition. It cost the same as the regular edition.

We would all say NO to them two individuals daughters.....
Townshend was on roll during this period. Who's Next could easily have been a double album.
