The problem: A couple of door holes had to be cut in "Kuntsi" a museum for modern art in Vaasa/ Finland.
Cutting the 63cm(25") thick brick walls from the inside was not an option, because of the noise and the water.

The solution: We used the ICS Diamond Chain saw, with a 63cm (25") blade. The wall was cut from the outside about 60cm (24") deep, so the water didn't do inside the building.
After the cutting, it was easy to make the holes with a hand held electric breaker.

  • Chainsaws are great! bu they also can be a nightmare once the bar wears out.

  • thats true! and the chain/bar wears out really fast! we only use this saw for special aplications or places where nothing else can be used.
