  • Oooh lastly, my rant at the end fails because I was rushed. And some machines can be useful for experienced lifters. If you haven't spent the last 6 months to a year regularly going to the gym, that isn't you.

  • Those last two comments were supposed to be reply's, to the comment about parkour. And the comment by bluecrew about my dead lift.

  • have u tried parkour

  • Yes, I can't generally get into town to train parkour though. Also, parkour isn't a good form of exercise all alone. Good Traceurs(sp) also train either with body weight or in the gym.

  • Wait...

You dead lifted 60lbs? so thats like 95 lbs? Guess how old i am. 14. guess how much i bench. 90. Thats sad bro, thats sad. I BENCH almost more than you deadlift.

  • Yep, I bench more then I dead lift too. But I dead lifted 90 lbs on the bar yesterday, which is 135lbs or so. And 20 lbs more than I lifted last time.

Also, the bar is about 45 lbs. My dead lift is week because yesterday was the third day training it. I've been benching for a while now, probably a couple months (2-3) Broken up over the last year.)

  • I'm glad to see that you and so many others have already lost weight and are keeping it off. For the rest of us who are at the beginning, we will be counting on you and the others for weight loss tips. Keep posting, and don't be afraid to repeat yourself on the tips such as no beer or soda. We need that info laser-etched into our heads. Thanks!

  • well im 15 n i ive been doing parkour for about a year now n i lost 15 lbs. (150 - 135) but now ive been working out n i ve gone back up to 147lbs.

  • Dragon, for weight loss you actually want to eat 300 calories less then what your body needs to maintain it's current weight. What that is varies on your weight, height, level of activity, and level of fitness. You can find various semi accurate calculators online.

This would be like 15% less then what I normally eat when NOT lifting for me.

  • soo brave
