Jane's Addiction - Summertime Rolls - NIN|JA Tour - 5.27.09

Jane's Addiction is closing the show on the NIN|JA tour. During the show Perry took a nasty spill because it was misting out and one of the boxes he jumped to was slick. Being the trooper he is, Perry kept right on performing (but you'll know why he references his ass in the video.)

As it was, Jane's tore it up and then some. It was an amazing experience, hopefully you can all see that from these videos.

The show took place at the Starlight Theatre, Kansas City, MO, on 5.27.09.

@davism4a1 Wrong on so many things. Nails have been my favorite bands until that night I saw Janes. NIN/JA are two bands that definitely sound better live while your computer speakers do the acustics absolutely no justice. I'm a Janes fan now forever. You won't a more dynamic lead singer or better showman than Perry Farrel. Trent put more effort into "terrible lie" in Kansas City than I saw from any other performance on the tour. The daylight was odd but it didn't ruin anything.

@TonicLoving NIN's performance wasn't so great, I mean Why put on a NIN show in the daylight? But JA kicking their ass? I Hardly think so, Why did half the crowd leave as soon as this fag took the stage?

@davism4a1 lol Janes Addiction kicked NINs ass that night. No doubt in anyones mind there. I was expecting so much more from NIN but Reznor has completely lost the plot with like his last 5 albums - a bunch of blaaahhh. THese guys have stayed true to their roots and still rock like its 1988! Better to burn up(JA) than fade away (NIN)

Perry, Perry, Perry....there are two men who look hot in a dress and you are one. Goddamn, that was an awesome show. We didn't get Summertime Rolls in Abq, but they did One Percent instead....fucking amazing

v v the singer is not gay, he has a gorgeous wife and two beautiful children. He himself is a beautiful person.

This is truly one of the greatest bands.
