Former Guantanamo detainee returns home - 15-Dec-07

Two Sudanese men, released from Guantanamo Bay, have returned home after five years in incarceration.

Al Jazeera's Mohamed Vall reports from Khartoum on the return of one of the two men, Adil Hassan Hamad, to him family.

How can they go back to their own country when they're being kidnapped for no reason and then brought to the prisons to to get tortured for no reason. And muslims dont kill the ppl they live next to. This Honest man was in Jail for 5 fucking years, he lost 5 years and the US government cant tell him why they wasted 5 years of his life! What compensations was give to him, not that any amount of money will ever brings back a single nano second. Did he get a apologies from Mr Bush, US government. People get treated like stray animals and we American allow it. So what they aren't American. People have different views that's what makes us all an individual. My deepest sorry to this guy! Sorry!

Mashalah.You see how they still hold onto their faith and praise Allah. Even after 5 years of torture. Us muslims living in a comfortable life style need to start being grateful for what we have and start practicing our deen the way were meant to. I say this to myself too.

LionofAllah, you speak truth. A few of my mates (no where near religous) looked into inslam and felt it was the "way of the future", an honest socialism by self-rule. We need to understand VERY few are fucking the whole. Stand together, educated. We have emotions for a reason.

Islam is a religion not a country! These individuals (terrorists) have hijacked your religion yet many English and American born muslims continue to support their "brothers" on the streets. You can't tell me that a european or American born muslim has seen first hand the suffering that dos go on in the middle east. They may have read about it in the papers or is that just the media "missinforming" everyone again. They read the same papers as me.
