Advert made for Spinadisc Records in Northampton in about 1995. Trading started in 1967, owned by Dick Raybould who worked here up until it shut down a few years back. Northampton town centre isn't the same anymore! I worked there and can be seen smiling pretending to serve someone in the ad.

Spinadisc Records was the best record shop in Northampton. It belonged to part of a small chain. There was one other independent record store in town, John Lever's that was in Gold Street, opposite to Millenium pizza approximately, it's heyday was in the 60's. does anyone old enough remember this store too?

Heh, incredible. It looks and sounds stupidly dated now, aww. I miss the place, only had it in my first year of Uni then the store closed, got a few really good CDs from there as well as a Biffy Clyro poster (and some Head Automatic ones) which I'm thankful for!
