  • lol, I love the sudden crouching position they go in when they are excited.. Although that running doesn't seem through excitement. When my Akita goes hyper, his tail is up - This Akita shown almost looks fearful when running.

  • yea the snow ball disappearing in the snow fukked her all up she was like WTF

  • My Akita did this every so often and we called it a FRENZY! Was so fun to watch. She even attempted to do this at 14 years, 6 months. That day before I had to put her down.

  • nice puppie

I know, I love my Akita to death and I know that he would protect me with his life.

  • @checkers1245 Cause they are another breed with an aggressive reputation. Dogs are just like kids. You mold them into what they are. Just cause they're a certain breed doesn't mean they should be looked down upon or feared. Akitas are great dogs. And VERY protective.

Why is it that people don't want to rent to people who have Akitas? They are on the restricted breed list and I think it is unfair.

  • @checkers1245 Akita's love the snow! Atleast mine does. We live in the midwest, there will be inches of snow outside and she would stay out there for hours if I let her. Akita's history tracks them back to being hunting dogs in the mountains, their thick fur can handle the cold temps.

My male Akita does this but he is like 10 years old and I am afraid he will hurt himself. These dogs get so big, it is funny watching them try to do what the smaller dogs do. What is really weird is that he never barks unless he wants something. Like if I am in the other room and he wants to go outside, he will give a little bark. My other dog will bark his ass off. He is not an Akita though.
