  • Stop with the "ok, ok, yes, sure, right, correct....", IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING!!!

  • This god-of-craftmanship built my no. 2001 classic 5 back in 1992. I'd like to be buried with this bass... I'll never sell it! Best instrument on earth! Thanks Mr. Tobias!

  • BEST BASSES EVER MADE!!!

  • @DangerSheep Not only that - the guy has no idea what musicians R interested in knowing, such as his observations on what particular types of tonal character U get with particular types of wood, etc. NOBODY cares 'how much time do U invest' bla bla. U may as well ask him about his favorite brand of shoes? LoL!! =))

  • U gotta' love how people will pay thousands of dollars 4 a plank randomly drilled with a low-end cordless from Mr. Shaky Hands there =))

I mean really - Y bother using a drill press when U can just GUESS? LoL!!

  • @Fili2009able that depends on what sound you like the most. for example : in metal, alot of bass players only use the bridge pick up, cause it gives a rough and steel sound. so if they get a signature model, it has only a single pick up near the bridge. people who like it more having a nice warm sound, place it in the middel of the bass (like Frederic Leclercq from Dragonforce). it's just a matter of taste.

  • If you're using only one pickup, how do find the best position on the bass body to place it ?

  • This is interesting to know how Michael Tobias makes these basses,'

I love the sound of them although at this point I can't afford one.

  • I had a cahnce to meet Michael Tobias a few years ago in New York, and he is a fine ,unpretenuous person. MTD makes the Rolls Royce of bass guitars. To compare a Warwick to a MTD is an insult (although nothing more than a personal preference). Keep up the good work Mike.I only wish your babss weren't so expensive. Your Kingsto Z and ZX model are absolutely outstanding.

  • genius!
