@MrsClippit Yes, Melanie. that has been my main point from the very first comment. thank you for saying it.

@MrsClippit......It's so obvious we're misunderstanding eachother. Reading words makes it hard to tell the way words are meant. I'm always calm and I'll do just that.

@MissRaquelVictoria OMG woman. Forget it. I am not getting "intense" or rude. I was merely remarking on Lonnie and why CCM asked Lonnie to leave. just never mind go back to your life and calm down dude... Really get a grip.

@MrsClippit Never did I once say it was right or wrong and in my original comment I was simply stating that I wish I would of heard his story. It's also a bit rude to assume what one has or hasn't read. This is getting intense. I'm not even gay I'm just a person with thoughts. Regardless of right or wrong I still have chosen to "love one another." Leave God to do his work of judgement and just lead by example.

@mattsplace85 I am not being presumtious. I am stating a fact. What do you do about Leviticus 20? There are other passages about homosexuality in the Bible. You see, this is what happens when man blurs the rules and Gods Plan for Humanity. I didn't make the rules dude.... God did.

Well, I think it is presumptuous to claim to know the sins of others. I have though and prayed about it, and long ago came to the conclusion that most folks cannot change their sexual orientation. God created in his image...and does not make mistakes. LGBT people are not mistakes, but people, God's children. Granted, there is a difference between loving committed relationships (heterosexual or homosexual), and lives of promiscuity and decadence.

@MissRaquelVictoria It has everything to do with your comment. If you cannot see why Chuck Smith and the others "protected the flock" by asking Lonnie to leave well, I dont know what else to say. In those days, homosexuality was not a protected right that is taught to children as an acceptable sexual act. Go read Leviticus 20:13. It is GOD saying that. Not man. You cannot pick and choose what you believe about the Bible. Either you accept it 100% or move on to something else...
No. The Bible IS VERY CLEAR: homosexual acts and a homosexual lifestyle IS SIN. To live a double-life and expect to continue in ministry is no more right for Lonnie Frisbee than for Pastor Ted Haggart or Jimmy Swaggert. I don't believe ANY Christians "hated" Lonnie Frisbee, ... I believe they were very grieved that he did not give up his sinful lifestyle and addiction to this sin. he needed correction; he wouldn't receive it. he died of AIDS. how very sad and tragic.

@MissRaquelVictoria LOL Yeah I know huh? Words without the voice behind it can really cause us to misunderstand eachother. Sorry if you misunderstood me. I am sorry if I misunderstood you :(
