This was a Spoof of the Rocky Horror Picture Show back in the 1980's after Ronald Reagan was elected.

  • Is it just me or is the guy playing Brad also Kramer on Seinfeld?

  • YES, it was Kramer. This show called Friday's back in the 80's was how he got his start.

  • this show is fuckin amazing<333

  • So lame the way people are snidely dismissive of this clip. They did this live on national television when national television still meant something. And the satire, of course, was right on the money. How can people still buy the Reagan myth at this point when Reaganomics and his legacy through the Bushes led us so deeply into the ditch? Instead they pretend it's somehow Obama who magically brought us into a recession that started BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED. Reagan and the Republicans. Bleh.

  • This play sucks!

  • gosh this gets too annoying a song every minute or so its killing me -_-

  • Reag-n-furter

  • So freak :D

  • Some one ought to do re-do this with Pelosi as the vampire, Harry Reid as the nerdy Brad, and Obama as the dude from Transvania.

  • HA! Wow she looked just like Susan Surandon.

Man that guy would make a great Frank actually, he slipped into a Tim Curry voice a few times.

  • Is there a way to get an original copy of this filmed version?

  • This was pretty risky to do on TV when it came out--but it turned out to be completely true! This was before cable TV--this was on a NETWORK (albeit late at night). Also Reagan had just been elected by a landslide---but most of us knew what a monster he was. Remember---this came out in 1980. Back then material was never done on TV. "Fridays" took a bog risk but pulled it off. Notice the standing ovation they got at the end:)

  • OMG, 1:12, he does Frank's evil laugh PERFECTLY!!!
