  • Dave Canterbury from dual survival (great show), What is your favorite knife to take out into the wilderness? What is you preferred fixed blade and folding knife you would like to have in the wilderness for all of the different applications?

  • Here is a suggestion... South American natives used to boil the skins for a half hour to remove the fat, any longer than a half hour will loosen the hair. But that should be enough to render the fat so it is easily removed.

  • @KnightInWhite fox was sick at the time of death so it was no good.

  • I like how Dave's camps are always like right off the highway. Must not be much virgin woodlands left back east. That's sad. Maybe Dave should move out to Washington, we have thousands of acres to get lost in. Little bit wet, like that adventure Dave and Cody had, but you can't hear cars in the woods.

  • What did you do with the fox meat?

  • @MsRainbowKitty

oh, otherwise, good stuff. forgot kudos too.

  • rough on that salt man. in any sort of self-reliance situation where salt is finite, you'd be gathering that excess with a tarp or something.

  • @mlanning722 i ended up getting one just over a week ago. i love it.
