Funny thing is, no matter where you go as a true Pittsburgher, you will always get asked where you come from. But my accent isn't as heavy when I go on vacation.

Been living in NY/NJ for the past 36 yrs so my accent has changed. The accent is really unique. My family here point out certain words I pronounce differently. My family in Pittsburgh tell me I say Noo Yawk. I still understand "Pittsburghese" It never leaves you.
