Irish dancing should be whatever you want it to be. I know girls who go way out with the makeup and the fashion and I think that takes away from the tradition so I try not to do that. There's also some teachers who make dancers wear so much makeup and wear a certain kind of dress. It really all depends on the school you go to. And while there are some wonderful judges out there who judge dancers based off of skill, there are also some very shallow judges too.

@KWalsh554 uh. no its not 95% beauty. i go to dance class 2 times a week for 3 hrs each time, and work my butt off so i can be a good dancer. are you even a dancer? no i dont think so. so dont say that dancers are just pretty and have no talent. yes, you do have to make your wig and dress look nice but it doesnt matter that much. its all skill.

fabulous dancer, really well done!! seriously though who is the dumbass saying it's only 5% skill, they have either never danced in their lives before, or are totally crap and are jealous of truly great dancing. really super job, does anyone know how she placed in this?
