Citizen Navihawk 2000GT (Skyhawk) Review JN4000-51L

This is a review and tour of the Japanese-market Citizen Navihawk 2000 pilot's watch (known in the US as the Skyhawk). The watch has a slide rule bezel, 24-hour subdials for UTC and local time, a destination timer, a stopwatch, three alarms, and will show time for any time zone in the world. It also has a crown, which makes for a very usable, satisfying interface.

I have a really similar watch, except it has protruding buttons instead of those flat ones, and a different metal band style. Ive been trying to find it on the web, do you know what it is?

@aravitz857 Citizen made many models of this watch. They were either known as Navihawks or Skyhawks. You could also look it up by the movement number stamped into the back of the case. This particular watch is stamped "C390-Q02276 Y," indicating that it has a C390 movement.

i have the titanium skyhawk, but has no light and isntead of destination timer it has a 99 minutes countdown timer. and the crwon in your watch ppulls out when you press the button, mine doesnt do that :( i prefer yours except for the titanium.

Great video;got the watch was so impressed by it...UNTIL I found out it doesn't have the half-hour difference for India. Kinda need the function so was a bit disappointed.

@fleetingdays The JDM version has sapphire. The US versions can be sent to the service center and swapped to sapphire.
