I live in Quebec city, Quebec and at this time there are around 400 cm of snow on the ground ... believe me you don't want that much snow where you live ... it's a mess , we're tired of shoveling all this white S*H*I*T ... only good thing is snowstorm ( there is one today so school is closed for the 5th time this year haha )

I've never noticed any serious rust issues after riding in snow or rain. It's probably a good idea to dry off your uni after doing so though. Depending on what your components are made of you may experience some problems over time.
