The MotionCreator does much more at this point than simply emulate key presses. For instance in the dual analog mode we're moving the mouse cursor at rates and directions based on the reading of the analog stick. The application has grown to be pretty sophisticated compared to its earlier versions.

  • @rochr

Both analog sticks in Dual-Analog mode have fully analog input. The dead-zones can be customized along with several other attributes of the analog input.

  • That is how the ps3 move and wii should be.. not that the weapon is flying side to side on the monitor

  • @rochr4 You're hoping for too much. This is what's possible right now, deal with it. MotionCreator just maps keyboard keys to buttons. I was hoping for more too, but I learned to deal with it.

  • dual analog ? more like dual digital ! why right stick does not have analog input ?

this game 'black ops' is shown here as an paradigm of compatibility, I hope for more.

  • I definitely am going to get this. I wonder if there is a sort of "custom mapping" app already done to set each and every kind of moves for the Hydra. I thing like what you use for Saitek's cyborg stick. The Razer Hydra holds huge possibilities, at least 1285 combinations between moves and buttons. THIS is the future of PC gaming, and we already have it in our hands!

  • Still …

Need driver update with customizability and not just a list of some supported games. Hacking such complicated config files to hack in custom configurations for games is not really an option. And it would still miss extended functionality.

Then an API, so one can use the hydra for ones own programs.

  • @SnoweyMan111 pretty sure razer is just using the technology from sixense, but still it's cool they saw its potential first

  • Funny how Ps3move and wii keeps at this for years and then razer comes along and beats them in an instant (by comparison).
