What's up guys, I'm Andrea Rene for Clevver Games with more coverage from Gamescom 2011. Sony dropped some hot news at their press conference today, like new Vita games, new Move games, and a new, cheaper way to get your hands on these games.
.
If you have been stalling on buying a PlayStation 3 now may be the time to jump on board. Sony announced the Playstation 3 160GB model will be dropping to $249.99 in the U.S. and to similar prices around the globe. The new price cut is available now, or you can pick up the 320 GB model bundled with Infamous 2 for $300 dollars.
.
In addition, Sony also announced they'll be releasing a new, light version of the Playstation Portable or PSP. The new E-1000 model most notably will NOT have WiFi, but it will be compatible with all PSP games. Just how do you get these games you ask? Well, you can connect your device to your computer or to your PS3, but you can also connect the Playstation store through Media Go. It will sell for 99 Euros and be available across PAL.
.
These announcements come on the heels on an ongoing debate that the new Playstation Vita is priced too high will the higher end model cracking the $300 mark. But considering the amazing lineup of games Sony has in the pipeline, I don't think they'll suffer the same fate as the Nintendo 3DS. But what do you guys think? Is the price drop on the PS3 enough to get you to buy? Does the new PSP sound appealing? Let me know what you think in the comments section below. I'll bring you more news from Gamescom 2011 all week so make sure to subscribe to not miss a thing. I'm Andrea Rene and thanks for watching Clevver Games.

  • @shehzaadful Wow, Just noticing this. LOL. But, anyways, there are different bundles you can buy with the PS3, and all of them come with different accessories. The difference? A 320GB PS3 allows more memory, while the 160 GB Has less memory. Although, I would recommend the 160GB, Considering your probably not gonna use that much memory. But I Defiantly will.

  • @Jeremythehedgehog1 please explain me the difrence between 120gb ps3 and 320 gb ps3 and wht are the accesrories we gona get

  • its funny how price drops keep getting announced yet every time I walk past a games store I still see those ridiculous $549 / $449 PS3 bundles (This is in Australia however). The price really hasn't dropped much since the ps3s first release. Also annoying that they got rid of the backwards compatibility. Despite all this I'm most likely still going to pick one up as the games I've wanted to play (such as GTA4) are now considered "old" (I've never played any of them lol) and are therefore cheap

  • Yup. I'm buyin a 320gb infamous 2 bundle and getting lbp2. :D

  • im so glad i got the 3000 psp.but im getting the vita :D the psp vita is def worth the money better graphics wifi plus 3g 2 touch screens where can u go wrong

  • good price

  • how do I get the games? ummmm. UMD? isnt that why the model was made.

  • Im sellin my psp for $100 including games

  • Thank you.... Ive been tryin to get a ps3 4 a while but it was too much and now its $50 less .... THANK YOU
