Can anyone tell me if this is for real? Why would people bark like dogs etc... if they were getting filled with the Spirit? How does this help your relationship to God? Did this ever happen in the Bible? I'm not being sarcastic, please someone help me out here, because if this is truly from God I want all of it!

It is very Biblical, and especially if it produces the fruit of more passion and love for Jesus and his word. I have been there several times, and it is really God! Jonathan Edwards of the Great Awakening said, that if someone falls down and shakes and they get up and love God and their family and the Word after they were cold to God, that CANNOT be the DEVIL. The devil would NEVER do that. I agree. This is all through the Bible and revival history!

Acts 2, they accused them of being drunk, why? because they were speaking fluently in 13 different languages they did not know? I don't think so. It was because they were acting drunk as they were filled. Eph. 5:18-19 says don't get drunk on wire, instead be FILLED (drunk) with the Spirit.

Better it is to be in a church where the Holy Spirit of God is welcome and sometimes people get in the flesh; than to be in an ole dried up religious church where people are so afraid of the flesh that the Holy Spirit is not welcomed to touch the heart of a single person ! I prefer Holy Spirit moving among flawed people over dead religion any day of the week.

I went to TCF in 1994. I went and was touched by the power of the Lord. I shook in my bed all that night and the next morning I woke up and said to myself... self... that is just you doing that.. I judged it and left. I then realized I had quenched the Holy Spirit.. I repented and asked the Lord to allow me to experience Him again like that.. went to Catch the Fire Conf. i Texas... God radically touched me. No one laid a hand on me... just Jesus... I have been walking in that power ever since
