Why the cars passing each other like in a country with left-hand traffic? Are poles that support overhead wires wooden?

Thanks for recording. It is very interesting for me. I think It is very good idea to built tram system to the city. They are space effective, environmentally friendly. They will encourage people to use public transport. I create cities much more human and nice. I think Vancouver should build not only Olympic line but also return streetcars to the city and build more tracks. Will be normal streetcar system constructed in the future?

I understand , another half arsed attempt to be seen improving public transport as a part of games expenditure. with any luck your transit authority could obtain some of our surplus W class trams we have in storage to replenish your system.
rather provincial, single line, passing loops, doesn't extend itself to a more flexible time table if required, hopefully it works when all the fun and games are over. do it right the first time or not at all.

@glennofootscray - It's just a demo line at the moment along just a section of the proposed ROW. Cars will be going back to Brussels after March 21. With funding most stretches will be double tracked.
