yeah right - georgians and abkhazians were slaughtering each other and now they'll live in peace.
Russians saved georgians (including the georgian president).
There is no war thanks to the Russians but there might be in the future if the Georgians won't change their attitude.

the problem is not to hate the Russians but hate Russian politics. The Russians should change its policy and instead always seek confrontation rather seek to cooperate. What would have happened if after independence in Georgia Russia has had a friendly attitude?

occupants? the russians are peacekeepers and according to cease fire agreements arms restriction do not count for them.

the russians peacekeepers have lost all legitimacy for a long time becoming involved in the conflict. and Russia has left the agreements establishing official ties with Abkhazia. their mandate is not renewed and they will leave.
