This video program is available in full at www.pdxjustice.org and at the Google Video website (search on keywords "pdxjustice" and "Buttu"). The program's title is "Part 1 - From Occupation to Enclosure: Fragmenting the Palestinian State." Diana Buttu is a Palestinian-Canadian lawyer. In 2000, she left North America to move to Palestine in order to assist with the then "peace" negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel as one of the PLO's legal advisors. With the outbreak of the second Palestinian uprising against Israel's occupation (and the breakdown of negotiations) Diana decided to remain in Palestine.
She gained prominence during Israel's invasion of the West Bank, serving as spokesperson for the PLO. Ms Buttu assisted in the litigation of Israel's wall before the Hague in 2004 - a resounding victory for the Palestinians, and indictment of Israel's wall. In 2005 she was appointed President Abbas's communications director. She has since left her official posts. She now resides in Gaza where she is writing a book on the Israeli occupation.
Prior to moving to Palestine in 2000, Ms Buttu also served as legal counsel to the Canadian Department of Justice. She holds law degrees from the University of Toronto and Stanford Law School.
This lecture was presented at the Rachel Corrie Foundation Peace Works Conference on April 22, 2006, in Olympia, Washington (www.rachelcorriefoundation.org). The Israeli journalist and author, Amira Hass, was Ms. Buttu's co-presenter. This program includes a preview of Ms. Hass' presentation.
If only there WAS a genocide against the Palestinians - nobody would miss them. Nothing but terrorists and supporters of terror.

What a mouthpiece for terrorists - a propagandist and a LIAR. Her people belong in the offal pit they created for themselves.

@lambuponthethrone When King David committed a Sin; 70,000 israelites were struck dead by God. King David himself said; "I have sinned - let me and my family pay for it. But why these innocent people?" Innocent people have always borne the brunt of their leaders' mistakes. So choose your leaders carefully. If you want peace; throw out your leaders who want violence; instead of development.

@lambuponthethrone You speak of Hamas as though all Palestinians are Hamas? Is this not the typical attitude of the Israeli aggressor, in order to find reason from false claim to seek approval to a different agenda? ... The world can see what is happening here ... Genocide!

It's on her arm, I don't know if she's a muslim but she was born in Canada. Most Muslim women in the west only wear the headscarf during the prayer time.

@Dream423: Sadly, based on evidence I've seen, it is mainly a religious conflict. And in fact, the Torah says NOTHING about exile. Last time I checked, the only Biblical book that said anything about expulsion of that nature was Revelation.

that is becos israel cares for it's citizens' safety and has built underground shelter. You use women and children as a human shield. You want them to be killed so that you can grovel in self-pity and ask the world to intervene. This intervention/ceasefire only allows you to re-arm and start the process all over again. With each man having 20 plus children; people are only human fodder for the war as far as Hamas is concerned. This is war. The higher the ratio; the better is that side fighting.

One thing all terrorists victims can't get back is their LIVES! Shut the hell up with time at checkpoints!! the checkpoints are there to insure cowardly terrorists dressed as civilians don't infiltrate and kill innocent people!!
Glad Fox News dealt this sorry PLO spoke woman exactly what she deserved.
She is clueless!
Stop sticking up for Hamas, they are terrorists, they kill fellow Palestinians, GET IT?!?!

So why do they have checkpoints. Ohhh because of the terrorists who blow innocent people up ! You do not talk about the millions of Jews who were expelled from the Arab states.
