Yeah. There are alot of pennies made from 1909to 1981, including mint dates. 95% copper is more then 90% silver. Now pennies I think are 95% zink. Zink is going up as well. It costs 1.8% more to make a penny. At some point they'll discontinue pennies. I think copper is the next silver.

ok, yes now I understand. But the thing is with the pennies is that only the 1982 and before pennies are 95% coper the 83' to present is a zinc alloy.

you said you were putting copper pennies aside because the value of copper is going up. I think you're right. If they ever disconinued pennies, people could melt them down and make 200% right now, let alone a few years fom now.
