@MissWooHoo1 Honestly though, they're both awesome- you'll have an amazing time wherever you go! Whistler is crazy fun...I've spent more time in Banff so I know more about it but it's like picking between chocolate or candy- both are great!

@MissWooHoo1 If it was winter I'd definitely pick Whistler but for the summer I'd lean towards Banff...Vancouver is cool but in the summer there are so many tourists... I personally love Calgary! And it's awesome in the summer because it hosts the world famous Calgary Stampede! People are nicer there too...but no, ski hills are all around you in Banff! It's the mountains! There's so much to do in Banff in the summer...Whistler is like famous for skiing but in the summer, Banff is better imo!

@ajhartmetal but was it annoying being far away from vancouver? i mean calgary is no vancouver. and one other question. so would u recommend being in BANFF for summer or whistler? i mean it would be handy having vancouver down da road in summer. plus i heard its like 30 mins to get to the ski hills when your in Banff. but in whistler they are right there. thanx!

@MissWooHoo1 Banff's really not that isolated, it's only a couple hours from Calgary! Whistler is awesome, it's full of young people, more of a party scene...whereas Banff is really classy, tons of fun too though. Banff may be cheaper because it's in Alberta and they don't have PST but both are resort towns so they'll probably both be pretty pricey. I'm 19, and I LOVE Banff...it's effin amazing. Great bars too! So they're both really good, it's all about personal preference

is banff or whistler better. banff seems a bit isolated. I'm going to do a working visa in one of them.
