CZ 858 Tactical 2 Rifle, 7.62x39mm

Putting a few rounds downrange with my new CZ 858 Tactical 2 Rifle. This rifle is a civilian version of the Czech military VZ-58 with longer 477mm (18-3/4") barrel and magazine pinned to 5 shots for the Canadian market.

Although it has a somewhat similar shape it is NOT a variant of the Kalashnikov (AK47)and shares no parts with the AK.

The stock, hand guards and pistol grip are made of a molded wood fiber/ resin composite. Although they may look a bit odd I find them well proportioned and comfortable.

The receiver is milled steel and the rifle is finished in a dark grey enamel.

So far it's been 100% reliable.

I agree with another post on here thats its so ugly you cant help but want one.I like old military rifles-something which has had a life and bears the scars too.One intresting thing i noticed in your video-the spent cartridges seem to eject forward.If this is correct and im not seeing things,but what a great idea and stops hot cases rain down on people by the side of you on the range!
