FREJA BEHA: SUPPORT DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS OCTOBER 4th - Paris Fashion Week

Freja is encouraging everyone in the fashion industry and around the globe to donate a days salary or what ever they can to the non-profit organization at their website at DoctorWithoutBorders.org.

We caught up with Freja Beha and Arizona Muse backstage at the Balmain show in Paris today and they told us about the charity and how they are trying to mobilize models and the entire fashion industry to get involved. Both models are donating their days salary to the Doctors Without Borders organization on October 4th and you can too. Go to the website DoctorsWithoutBorders.org and donate what ever you can now.

Really good to say that because we always forget that mannequins can win millions just because they walk on a podium and somewhere, maybe in africa or in india, a child is dead just because he can't pay food or live under a roof.The priority is not to be well dressed, and eat caviar every night. The important thing is to be dressed, to eat, learn, understand, be loved by somebody and to become someone who will be able to clothe, feed, teach, learn to understand and to love to his own children.

Smart and beautiful woman, that Freja! Doctors Without Borders is a great organization...better than most out there. They don't take military, government, or other aid. - So they can stay when others have to leave due to bureaucratic bullshit. And they are neutral. They treat humans, individuals. It's pure medicine and love for humanity in the face of horrendous man-made and natural disasters. Not going to lie...the individuals in Doctors w/o Borders are my heroes. :) Off my soapbox now...
