There is no need to take over and govern the country or engage in nation-building as the Bush administration attempted to do in Iraq. All we have to do is put enough pressure on the government of Sudan to convince them to STOP.

"The 7,000 African Union (AU) peacekeepers deployed to Darfur have proved too small and ill-equipped a force to prevent much of the killing. In September 2006, the UN Security Council voted to replace the AU peacekeepers with 20,000 UN troops, but the resolution required the consent of the Sudanese government, which President al-Bashir categorically refused."
