Austrian Armed Forces
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Österreichisches Bundesheer (German for "Federal Army of Austria", officially referred to as the Austrian Armed Forces in English), is the name for the military of the Republic of Austria.
The main branches are the Land Forces (Kommando Landstreitkräfte; KdoLaSK), Air Forces (Kommando Luftstreitkräfte; KdoLuSK), Mission Support (Kommando Einsatzunterstützung; KdoEU), International Missions (Kommando Internationale Einsätze; KdoIE), Command Support (Kommando Führungsunterstützung; KdoFüU) and Special Forces (Kommando Spezialeinsatzkräfte; KdoSEK).[1]
Austria, a landlocked country, today has no navy; in the period 1958 to 2006 however its army operated a naval squadron of patrol boats on the River Danube.

History
Between 1918 and 1921, the Austrian semi-regular army was called Volkswehr ("People's Defence"), and fought against Yugoslavian army units occupying parts of Carinthia. It has been known as "Bundesheer" since then, except when Austria was a part of Nazi Germany (1938--1945; see Anschluss). The Austrian Army did develop a defense plan in 1938 against Germany[citation needed], but politics prevented it from being implemented.
In 1955, Austria declared its Everlasting Neutrality and made neutrality a constitutional law. The Austrian Military's main purpose since then has been the protection of Austria's neutrality.
With the end of the Cold War, the Austrian military have increasingly assisted the border police in controlling the influx of illegal immigrants through Austrian borders. The war in the neighbouring Balkans resulted in the lifting of the restrictions on the range of weaponry of the Austrian military that had been imposed by a 1955 international treaty.

  • @ETwin666 oh ok thank you very much! :-)

  • @futureprowreslter

"fahr"n means "fahren" and that means drive ;)

The translation in english is like " forget it, i prefer to drive with big things" ;)

  • @ETwin666 ok... thank god for google translate... but what does 'fahrn' mean?

  • @futureprowreslter

Vergiss es, ich will mit große Dinger fahrn;)

  • @pappi4456 Well seeing as the Marder is fast and more nimble, it could take on a T90 in obstructive terrain. Its all in the numbers man, the AT rounds of a Marder combined with its high fire rate give it AT ability.

  • @AlexanderRuin i worked for nasa in the 1990s when we testes the russian tanks and believe it or not the marder 1 is of little comparison to a tank because even the adrams was outmaneuvered and thus beaten by a russian 1996 t90 tank... sad but its the truth

  • @pappi4456 A BMP is a Russian AFV, and the vehicle in the video is a Marder I believe, which when loaded with AT rounds, could tear up a T-90 at mid to short range, AKA Urban Combat distance. As I stated before, go back to CoD.

  • @AlexanderRuin yes it is do u even know what a bmp is? bmp>is like an armored personal carrier and in no way it was designed to take on a tank even a lesser one! is was designed to support armored personal.. not take on other tanks

  • @pappi4456 You obviously have little knowledge of warfare. That there is not a BMP, and it could easily take on a lesser tank and cause some serious damage. Go back to CoD.

  • @5687678 but with better equipment/filming lol
