had dvt in 1996 at age 24 am female and cause was birth control and smoking now always swells but started looking like clot symptoms again so started recording note veins and old healed spiderbite THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WITH A DVT THAT ARE MOSTLY FATAL IM LUCKY I HAVE MY LEG AND LIFE live like you were dying is so true dvt feels like leg cramp discolored with warmth to touch if you have swelling like this go get help now get a dopler scan (nothing to do with the weather)it may save your life I just enjoy my 3 yr old son more each day my next diagnosis may be P.A.D OR DVT may loose my leg 13 yrs after fighting like hell to save it i have to take 8 asprin a day for the superficial clotting i am now 37 yrs old i will keep fighting

what about those new procedures as posted by interviews with doctors on local news channels.They are described as outpatient type procedures.What do the doctors for this patient doing for her and what can she do for herself ie losing weight? etc. Anyone know what those outpatient procedures cost and if covered by Bluecross insurance PPO
