flashed BIOS and now system locks up on mem test, re entering set up, everything... windows wont load. system just locks up before it can do much of anything... wtf?

This video show a .rom being loaded, but Asus's website gave me a .bin. Is that an issue?

I have an Asus G71gx with Bios revision 1704. I need to install 1201. I have the file, and tried to install it using the Asus Update Utility. It will not do it because it is an older Bios. It says I need Asus DOS Utility, which is nowhere to be found not even on Asus' own site. This is extremely frustrating. Please message me I really don't know what to do. I don't know what this EZ Flash stuff is and I don't know how to update these damned drivers. PLEASE HELP!

Saves you having to go through the long process of using a bootable device and using a dos based utility...yeah right!.... this method is a lot faster and if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass a hoppin.

1. save the file to a bootale device and then 2 connect a bootable device to computer....oh yeah see that open door go open it.
