I think when i take this game seriously, the more i lose. I have loss A LOT recently and im surprised by my blindness. I wish the only way to win this game is to let your opponent beat you in checkers. Because it seems like that is what im doing. sigh. I bet even the greatest checkers players lots a lot. :( I want to be great. Do you think reading that Dr. Marion Tinsley book is helpful?

@WhiteEmerald1991 Hello! The Dr. Marion Tinsley book is very good. I have a suggestion for you. Get "The Little Giant Encyclopedia of Checker Puzzles by Robert Pike. Let me know when you finish and then we will work on something else. Also don't worry about losing. The way to win is to learn how to draw games. Especially on the internet where your opponent might be using a computer against you.

@WhiteEmerald1991 " Make sure you have at least a draw, before you start looking for a way to win. If your opponent seems suddenly to have left himself wide open, don't rush in for the win. Stop, Look, and Consider. Has he baited a tempting trap for you?" Tom Wiswell. This is very good advice. Have a Happy New Year!!!
