The guy flipping the coin that gives Porky the tip-off note is an actual spoof of gangster actor George Raft.

Man I used to love to watch this cartoon. So funny, especially in black and white

@Familygirl17 This transfer of the film is very poor, it is played at the wrong speeds. I have a much better copy of the 1968 colorized version in my collection.

Thanks Mel Blanc!!! Your voices still get laughs today. I met Mel in 1971 at CSULB and he was a really nice guy.

4:31, 5:06 and 6:42 are prescient. Mayor Michael Bloomberg should pay attention. Oh, I forgot, it's all due to the Islamophobia of Americans, George Bush and especially Porky Pig. The imperialists at Merrie Melodies were so culturally insensitive to even put a pig in this cartoon!

Why does Porky sound like Bugs Bunny at 1:02, and then like Daffy Duck at 2:10?
