Livermore (LVK) to Columbia, CA (O22) and back in a Cessna 172

February 11, 2008. Another beautiful February day in Northern California. Jean and I took N64204 for a quick flight to Columbia and back in the late afternoon, with a beautiful tone of light.

Not enough time to spend in Columbia on this flight, getting there (and back) was all the fun.

Returning to Livermore we did a "go around" due to inadequate separation with another aircraft. A mid-field crosswind leg gave us a cool perspective of the airport. And remember, with the zoom lens, objects appear closer than they really are!

Nice video! what kinda of camera do you have? I like the audio input feature you have. I see you have 64204 3/8/08 also......going to have a cool video from that flight too?

Thanks for the comment! It's a Canon HV20 high-def camera, very happy with it, but of course you can't see the quality on YouTube. No vid from 3/8, and I got switched to 2423E, but man it was a beautiful day to fly.

O22 is my favorite place to take people for the first time...the nature walk back from town starts the stomach doing it's thing so they are less likely to get nervous and sick on the way back!

OOH nice, HD meaning HD cash too. I am sure VERY nice camera but a liitle too much for what I would use it for. I guess Ill just deal with no audio, or keep shopping
