AAAA.252230Z NOV 2007 The Secret Agent written by Joseph Conrad 1907 The story is taken from an actual attempt of 1894, to blew up the Greenwich Observatory. Briefly the facts behind the Greenwich Bomb Outrage are these, A young man called Martial Bourdin was found in Greenwich Park, on a hill near the Royal Observatory `in a kneeling posture, terribly mutilated`on the evening of 15th February 1894. There had been an explosion; Bourdin had set the bomb off and in doing so killed himself. He had blown off one of his hands, and his guts were spilling from his body; he died in hospital very soon afterwards. You notice that there was a IN MEMORIAM written in an Anarchist Journal: What terrible waste of a human life no matter how badly one feels about The Powers that be.During the 1880s there were numerous acts of terrorism in England and the rest of Europe. When one reads the book one has a very strange feeling this is 1.2008 and 2.What is written in ones own Holy Bible N/T 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-17. AAAA. 131335Z FEB 2009 Dear Luis; Thank you for the comment...Well there is two things one can do...1. A film called `All the Presidents Men` ....DVD is best...then 2. The book of the same title written by the two Washington Post journalists who investigated the Watergate break-in leading to President Nixon`s resignation....Now by all accounts the CIA and FBI did know what had been going on....But re Deep throat he was lead by his own conscience...The film is a good.......AR.
