Chicago Cepelinai

Family fun making our annual traditional Lithuanian cepelinai dinner. This is my father's favorite meal, so it is a special time for togetherness. Cepelinai are made from potatoes and filled with meat. We sometimes refer to them as "zips" or "bombs" and learned to make them from our grandparents, who came from Lithuania. Sveiks!

nice going :) but yea u don't need to fry the meat u put it raw inside and just boil it :) but looks great! saunuoliai kad stengeties!!!

@usma91dsl yes it does my everyone does it :) i am from Lithuania (well now i moved to Norway) if u are interested i can even tell u how much time it takes and what traditionally u mix with the meat like garlic onion and stuff :) (ofcorse it doesn't mater it is a choice of taste) but i can say surely:
