  • What she should have said was the importance in commas.

    Like, if you said "Lets eat, Grandma!" It would be completely different w/out the comma: "Lets eat Grandma!" or "What is this thing called, honey?" changes to "What is this thing called honey?"

  • For a better instruction, try to speak more clearly, with pauses and better intonation. That's what all my college professors do. Of course, your effort is relevant.
