I used a Fujufilm Finepix F11, which is small hand-held digital camera with video option.
Atar by the way is a really nice small desert town with very friendly people. well worth a visit.

Remember Atar very well. Went up there on a street bike (VFR) from Denmark in 2009. Nice people and great place called Bab Sahara...

@mhoeyadventure That's a long ride. :) How did your bike cope with all the dust from the desert?

@labovski - Hey that was my life for two years, kids throwing rocks at me and other PCV's in the larger towns like Boghe and Aleg. Kids never did that in the villages though.

@SierraBuckeye Well, I never saw any kids throwing stones on foreigners, or other people for that matter, in towns or villages. But I never visited the south were you were.
